i am currently a walmart employee... sadly.. and have been for a few years.. apparently alot of people around the country think what you are doing is wrong... lemme tell you a few things.. i have personally seen sexual harassment, discrimination, price gouging by emplyee's and management to get a great deal and alot of other b.s... ya know what makes walmart great in america's eyes... Public relations campaign's propoganda... thats all it is...our salaries are capped, bonuses cut, awards of recognition ... done with... and the higher up's at walmart corp... get increased salaries, stock incentives and bonuses that are greater than 100 associates make in a year...probably higher than 100 associates combined would make in 10+ years...all stores aren't bad.... all management isn't bad... but it's those who are "corporate that only give a shit about themselves" or those who kiss their asses... i refuse... i have a job... i need a job and sadly it's walmart that provides it...attack walmart..do you people think that the only reason walmart has so many open lawsuits against the company is because they have deep pocket??? most of these cases are legit.. walmart does do right when it's a public relations issue... send relief to katrina victims, Natural disaster relief etc.. and i commend them for that , but don't think that if it wasn't benefiting them that they would still do it... walmart... as a great emplyer who cared about it's employee's died when sam walton died....period... either believe it or not....the only thing that can take this juggernaut box store down is it's rules and regulations... or the lawsuits being brought about by employee's for legitimate reasons...yes they do discriminate against females, harass employee's and come up with b.s ways to terminate employment...face it i work for a company bent on world domination, people shop their because of their prices, but none of them can imagine .. what truly happens at some walmarts.. unless they work for one

i work my ass off to keep our deli clean while other people including the dept mgt stand around like lazy bums!our so called mgt.team or wallmart wont even spring for the nessary repairs to keep us up on health codes,like holes in the floor.i guess if it is out of sight of the health dept. and the public eye, it is not worth fixing.i have taken this issue to the dm and still no repairs are made. my store also has roaches. when i took the dead bug to the comgt. she said"it is only a wood roach,nothing to worry about"nasty! I have seen people redate or extend out of date lables to prevent excessive throw aways on chub meats and bulk salads.i have also seen them cook out of date rotiserie chickens.FYI i do not eat anything in the place i work and i think you should think twice about it too! our store mgt, co mgt, fresh mgt dont eat in my deli either!

Honestly, I do not know much about Appalachia. And, I have never seen the term "Breeders" before my visit to your site. I must wonder how a group of "SMILEY FACES" on a shirt can be construed to represent specific HUMANS from any given location in the USA. It is all, frankly, beyond me. Perhaps there are people out there in the population for whom "SMILEY" ABUSE is a cardinal sin (or a legally punishable offense). Obviously, the "SMILEY" was forced into it's present service by the advertising wizards employed by WAL*MART. Further, I am impressed that the self-ascribed supporters of the law avoiding, EPA ignoring, below-middle-class employee abusing, uber-Christian identifying corporation known as WAL*MART can't, for the most part, submit correspondence that is not ridden with swearing and profanity. The facts are that WAL*MART's actions are bad for the communities into which they move. They are deceitful, harmful and untrustworthy business operators. That some can not (or do not want to) understand this does not make the reality any less real. I stopped visiting this purveyor of low-cost crud a long time ago, in favor of my locally run and owned stores. These establishments pay their taxes (no deals from the local Government). They put the money they earn back into the local economy to drive growth. My money does not leave the state, or country, to be used for other's gain. It benefits me to give my local shops my patronage.

I am commenting on the rebuttals you have recieved for working to expose Walmart. I have to still shop there for certian items in my town, however, I avoid them if I can.. The pro-Walmart manifestos I have seen here prove why. Walmart is contributing to the dumbing down of America. They provide high starch and salt foods at very cheap prices, giving the consumer a dietary choice akin to Federal prisons. They keep wages and health care benefits low so that they can retain lower educated workers longer, contributing to the separation of the servant and upper classes. They convince the employee and the consumer alike that we have abundance and that if we purchase it fills the voids in our soul caused by poor diet, lack of education and disregard for fellow beings. It is all relative deprivation, folks..You are still poor if you can buy a cheap plasma TV, but you can't think for yourself.

I worked at hel mart in orange city fl store.The managers should be put up against a wall and shot.And the suck asses who work there. The ones with the ten year badge. Watch out for them people. They goin on about SAM if SAM was alive this wouldnt happen. SAM WALTON was a money grubbing bastard who wanted to be exempt from paying min wages . I would like to dig him up and shit on him. I used to be a unloader. The managers would sabatoge us every night. And have meeting late night about the crew. A overnight person told me about this. Well they suck glad they fired me.but i got my unemployment they fought hard and lost.So i went to thestore after getting me unemployment . And they called the cops and said never come back in the store again. T he cops were pissed when at the managers for calling them .So now I have been black listed from ever working athell mart for life. LOL LOL

If my life ever get's to the point that yours is someone please shoot me. I mean seriously if I have nothing better to do with my time but put up a website about store and complain about what the hell is the point of going on? I worked as an assistant manager for a few years with wal-crap. I worked circle around a crappy store manager who did nothing. When it came time for a raise he said i cannot allow that it would throw payroll out of line, I know you diserve it but i cannot afford it. Then when I pushed for the raise they found some lame exuse to fire me. The district manager said I would have his job one day, but he had to let me go and wished me luck. What a dumb bastard. Also the fired me on a monday. They had me work close to 30 hours that weekend. What f**ks. I hope the all burn in hell.

My wife and I have no choice but to shop at wal mart since all the other store closed down.we have just shopped there last night and one of the items was bread so we went to the bakery department in store 1096 and both some today 8/27/2007 I opened up the closet to make a sandwich and the bread we just got was all moldie same goes for the 20.00 beef we got 2 days later in our frig it had all this mold growing on it but yet every thing in the frig was ok but there produce so now we have to drive out of town to get food that will last more then 24 hours sad very sad I hope the pres of wal mart spend his big salury on meds and being a super store why is there only 3 people checking every one out where is the Helper as all the mgr. stand there and look at us can they work.I hope america shuts down all imports from china that will kill off wal mart

I called WM to report the illness of my dog on the 24th. On the 25th, I spoke to the CMI, who told me that there were 3 or 4 other complaints turned in, within a 5 day period, "ONE of complaintants they had already paid vet bills on".

On the 26th.. It was obvious that my dog was not going to make it, so I called the CMI person, to ask her if they had received any other complaints, since she and I had talked the day before..

She was very hesitant, but, told me that she wasn't sure.. That there were several other people who take calls and report claims. This CMI, told me that she had knowledge that the product was held by the port authority for a while, until Customes then released it. Shortly after that she told me that she was going to see about having the product pulled from the shelves. Later that day, I received a call from her advising me that the product had been pulled from the shelves.

I wonder how many complaints, they call 'a few'- or a 'small amount' .. I know that I have spoke to at least 15 people, that have called and filed a claim.

Which then brings me to question what they consider a small amount? Same thing with the Melamine, what is the qoute 'traces' mean?

They are hiding something.. Something BIG.. They failed to contact FDA, about the complaints that they had - and failed to tell them about them secretly pulling the product.

To top it off, two weeks later, I received a letter, from another company who is in one way or another involved, with the manufacture and WM, who wrote to me- advising me that they know that there is a problem with the product, and they were looking into it. Then offered me $2,000. for the vet bills and 'replacement cost' of my dog.

What a bunch of creeps- they know they sold product - made in china, that was potiently hazardous to 'a few' animals.. and just looked the other way - all for the $$ of it.
